Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is $9.95. Express shipping is $14.95.

How long does standard delivery take?
Please take note that the delivery timeframes are based on the date of dispatch
and are intended as an estimate. We strive to dispatch orders within 1-2
business days. Please note that LIGHTNESS will not be held responsible for any
losses resulting from delivery delays. Here are the estimated delivery
timeframes for Standard Shipping across different states:

  • NSW & ACT: 2-5 business days.
  • QLD & VIC 3-5 business days.
  • SA: 4-6 business days.
  • TAS: 5-6 business days.
  • NT: 7-10 business days.
  • WA: 7-11 business days.

Please be aware that there is a possibility of a delay in dispatching your order for up to 48 hours, particularly during peak promotional periods.

How do I track my delivery?
An email will be sent to you with your tracking details once your item has been shipped. In case you do not receive this email, please ensure to check your junk mail. For any assistance regarding the location of your order, please contact us.

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within Australia only.

Do I have to sign for my delivery?
Yes. Packages dispatched via Australia Post will need to be signed on delivery. In the event that there is no one available to sign for the package, a notification card will be left for you to retrieve your order from the nearest Post Office. Please note that there is no depot available for item collection.

Return & Refund

What is your return policy?
If you wish to return a product, you have 30 days from the dispatch date to initiate a return request. However, please ensure the items are unopened, unused, and in resalable condition.

It's important to note that any shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges will be the customer's responsibility. We suggest using a registered service for returns.

To inquire about initiating a return or exchange, please, contact us via email at help@lightness.com.au or via the contact form. Please provide the relevant details of the item/s you would like to return, including the order number and reason for the return.

Can I change my delivery address after I've ordered?
Once your purchase is finalised, we immediately commence the handling and packing process to ensure a prompt delivery of your order. If, you have mistakenly provided an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, please, contact us. We will make every effort to assist you, provided your order has not yet been dispatched.

Cancel Your Order Before Dispatch?
If you have mistakenly purchased the wrong product you can cancel your order at any time before your order is dispatched. However, once we have dispatched your order dispatch, the order cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, please, contact us via help@lightness.com.au or the contact form.

Return Your Order within 30 Days?
We will gladly accept a return of your products provided:

  • you contact us within 30 days of the order of the products; and
  • the products are returned in original condition, unopened, sealed and in a salable condition.

Please note once the 30-day period has passed, we will not accept any return of products.

If you are returning the products because:

  • you changed your mind, we offer you an exchange up to the value of the products;
  • you received incorrect products, we will at our option, either replace the incorrect product with the products you ordered or we will refund you;
  • you received faulty or damaged products, we will at our option, either provide you with a replacement or we will refund you.

We take care in packaging all orders securely, however, occasionally boxes may be damaged while in transit, we do not offer refunds or replacements on products if only their packaging is damaged.

Unless we reasonably determine the product is being returned due to our error or product fault:

  • you are responsible for any shipping charges on returned products; and
  • we will not refund you the delivery fee originally paid.

You must obtain proof of postage and tracking to cover the unlikely event that the parcel is not returned to us.

As soon as we have received the returned product, we evaluate each claim individually, which will take 2-3 business days. If your return is approved for a refund, the purchase price of that product will be credited back to you, using the original form of payment that was used for the purchase.

Product Details

LIGHTNESS offers a range of candle sizes, including the original and most popular options.

Each candle is made with pure soy wax, blended with premium fragrance oils, and carefully poured into a thick white or black glass vessel for a clean and aromatic burn.

The candles are completed with an elegant wooden lid and presented in a LIGHTNESS signature gift box, making them the perfect present for any event.

  • Medium 200g candle with approximately 40 hours burn time.
  • Large 300g candle with approximately 60 hours burn time.
  • X-Large 460g candle with approximately 80 hours burn time.

Despite our best efforts to provide precise representations of each product's color and design, it is important to acknowledge that there may be slight variations in the actual colors and design. These discrepancies can be
attributed to factors such as variances in device screen settings, lighting conditions at the installation location, minor changes in product finishes over time, and other influencing elements.
